Wednesday morning, before heading to your Day of Service activities please come to the lobby of the Riverfront Center and receive your work gloves and t-shirt.

The Food Bank of Central Louisiana considers volunteers the heart of their operation. Their mission is to alleviate hunger in central Louisiana. FFA members will help by sorting items, packaging food “backpacks”, and labeling cans.
Transportation to and from the food bank must be provided by FFA chapters.
Special Instructions:
1. No flipflops
2. No food, drinks, or gum
3. No cell phones
4. No backpacks or purses
5. No eating of the food on the site
6. Your chapter must provide a minimum of 1 adult chaperon per 10 members
Dress comfortably for the heat.

The Alexandria Zoo is a 33-acre zoological park in Central Louisiana, founded in 1926 and home to approximately 500 animals from around the world. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The zoo is known for its shaded canopy and accessible layout, and it has undergone recent renovations and master planning to improve guest experience and sustainability. At the zoo, FFA members will assist with trash pickup, and cleanup and maintenance of trails, benches, exhibits, landscaping, etc.
Transportation to and from the Zoo must be provided by FFA chapters.
