Pfc. Bailey Senften – Animal Care Specialist (68T), U.S. Army

Join Pfc. Senften for an interactive workshop during the 96th Louisiana FFA State Convention on June 2–3, 2025, at the Randolph Riverfront Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. This hands-on session offers participants the opportunity to engage with a K9 medical simulator, demonstrating essential veterinary procedures such as triage, catheter placement, and bandaging techniques. Attendees will gain insight into the critical role of Animal Care Specialists in maintaining the health and readiness of military working dogs, both in clinical environments and field operations.

Pfc. Amanda Rivera Miranda – Veterinary Food Inspection Specialist (68R), U.S. Army

Join Pfc. Rivera Miranda for an engaging, hands-on workshop during the 96th Louisiana FFA State Convention on June 2–3, 2025, at the Randolph Riverfront Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. Participants will explore the critical role of Veterinary Food Inspection Specialists in ensuring the safety and quality of food supplies from the point of entry through distribution within military installations. Through interactive demonstrations, including surface swab testing to detect microbial contamination, attendees will gain insight into best practices for food handling and storage, highlighting the Army’s commitment to food safety and public health.
